This new series of high mountain snowshoes are made of aluminum tubing 6061-T6 with a metallic grey finish. The shape features a curved rear end, minimizing the dragging effect when walking forward and increasing maneuverability when going backward.
These snowshoes feature a patented copolymer decking and a "delrin" binding offering a full pivoting system with a high lateral stability that offers:
- light step, back end stays on snow and snow doesn’t stick
- minimum toe lift to exit snow print
- better lateral control
- suspension that assures ankle comfort
- improved traction
This very light snowshoe is equipped with two lever ratchets binding mounted on a curved non slip base with a foot stopper and aluminum traction claws.
This patented binding design (curved non slip base with a foot stopper) will give you the same fit than a binding with 3 LR with less adjustment. This feature makes these snowshoes very popular among teachers in their outdoor class because it is easy for the students to fit theirs boots even if they have no experience with the sport.
The copolymer decking is attached to the frame by a super resistant thermo rubber plastic extruded sheet “TPR”. The decking also includes a non-slip base for heel control, aluminum crampon and corrugated side rails to improve lateral traction. All plastic material of this shoe is treated against UV rays and resist to -40 Degrees Celsius.
Recommended for leisure in moderate terrain either in trail or off trail.
